I was struck at how much your description of WGMS also fits KDFC, San Francisco's so-called "classical" station. I looked at the WGMS website. The slogan says "At Work. All Day. Classical 103.5". Yep, pretty much describes KDFC. But wait... they are indeed clones of each other. WGMS and KDFC are both owned by Bonneville International.
