.....Ah, here we go with mine: From 1940's swing era--Anita O'Day, Helen Forrest, Doris Day, Billie Holliday, Lena Horne,Kay Starr. From the 1950's, how about Julie London?---From the 1980's and present days, how about Janis Seigel(a member of Manhattan Transfer),or Linda Ronstadt....Male singers: Mel Torme is good, Perry Como, Louis Armstrong, and the two Male members of Manhattan Transfer--BTW, Manhattan Transfer is a 24-year-old group, still going strong and I think the group-AS A WHOLE,with the 2 guys and 2 gals,has the best voices in Pop music today------
