as it quickly became apparent that such methods of transport precluded the intimate presence of nubile hot-blooded wenches... For a while I found a motorbike an effective and pleasant way of "conditioning" the local hotties (probably partly from vibration through the seat, and partly from sheer terror), but was persuaded of the benefits of appropriate 4-wheeled transport by a friend who bought a hearse and turned up to collect a girl on the first date and enquired with a smile whether she would prefer to sit in the front or stretch out in the back... :o)
George certainly believed that his hearse was an ideal form of transport for a keen lad "on the pull"... :o)
And that's probably considerably more than YOU wanted to know!... :o)
Yes, music, like key tastes and smells, can and does take our minds back to briefly re-live past times and places in our memory, and possibly keenly remind us of folk sadly long gone from our lives...
