I popped over to Gato in a stream of consciousness because I was listening to Lonnie Liston Smith's "Astral Travelings" while I spend time in my studio. Also to continue to enjoy the sound effects thru my newly rebuilt Eico HF 32 monoblocs. Bet you'd like THEM!
On the surface this music appears...........uhmmm, languid, a bit sultry, easy listening, certainly hot. But a little goes a long way. Too much is demanding, tiring even. As you imply it is not uncomplicated. Still, it reminds me of a pleasant time and place in a country where I used to summer.
I would drink rum and coconut, get sweaty and giddy-headedly chase tan women. Probably more than you wanted to know. LOL.
I don't necessarily post what I like most. Just a'sharing a little variety.
Maybe somebody else will chime in. Maybe not.
For some reason I imagine you're a cyclist. :-)
