The MG1.5 has a much bigger electrical dip in the midrange compared to the MG1.6 (-6.4dB at 700Hz for the former versus -3.4dB at 600Hz for the latter). This assumes that the MG1.5 has the woofer and tweeter wired out-of-phase, similar to the MG1.6. With an in-phase connection, there would be a complete null at the crossover point, which seems an unlikely design choice.I think Mart may be hearing the effects of the bigger electrical dip rather than a phase reversal. Comments?
