I would get a handful of resistors from Digikey. Say, 0.1, 0.22, 0.47, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.2 ohms. 5%, 10W sandcast types are very inexpensive.

L-pads and stepped attenuators would also work, but L-pads should be avoided because its too easy to get a fraction of an ohm of unintentional resistance due to corrosion (the L-pads in my previous speakers became intermittent with age). A stepped attenuator built with the above resistors would perform better, but requires a rotary switch capable of handling at least 4 amperes (not common).
