300Hz is the turnover frequency for the woofer section and 2500Hz is the turnover frequency for the tweeter section. The turnover frequency is the frequency at which the output is 0.7 or -3dB relative to the passband.6dB/octave means the output doubles (or halves) each octave. 12dB/octave means the output quadruples (or quarters) each octave. These are the ultimate slopes in the stopband. Around the crossover point, the slopes will be smaller.
Rather than overlap, there is a gap between the woofer and tweeter sections which is made up for by the acoustic response of the panel.
I suggest to download Mart's spreadsheet and play with the values. All these terms will become clearer with a graph.
