The MG1.6 reuses two of the biwire sockets for the tweeter resistor, so as designed one can use either the biwire connection or the tweeter resistor, but not both.However, it is possible to use both since all you need to do is to put the resistor in series with the tweeter. Connect the biwire cables as usual, then pull out the (+) tweeter banana plug, connect one of the resistor leads to the banana plug and put the other in the (+) tweeter socket. Note that the banana plug and first resistor lead do not plug in to the speaker; since they're hanging in the air, make sure that they don't accidentally touch anything.
