measure bad, sound good

The MG1.6 sounds a lot better than the measurements imply.

I had a lot of difficulty measuring a planar due to comb-filter effects. Search the archives for my attempts at measurement.

The MG1.6 doesn't sound like it has a 6dB shelf in the treble - this forum has regular posts on tweeter attenuating resistors and room treatments.

As Arbelos points out, each measurement looks at only one aspect of the speaker's performance, and that its possible for a speaker to be really good (or really bad) in ways not covered by the measurements, but very apparent to the ear.
