Do the Rogue 88s specs include an output impedence or damping factor? Is it different in triode and linear modes?I'm starting to believe that part of magic of tubes is the amplifier's output impedence subtly shifting the MG1.6's crossover points (with increasing impedence, the woofer section's -3dB point moves up while the tweeter section's -3dB point moves down). This is the same effect that I got by adding external resistors to a solid-state amplifier. I'd like to explain the difference in sound as not just caused by the amplifier, but also by the effects of the amplifier's output impedence on the MG1.6 crossover.
