See if you can get either the woofer or tweeter sections to work by connecting the amp to the biwire terminals. If you have a multimeter, you can test the resistance on the *external* speaker terminals. Refer to the MG1.6 schematic.
I'd check with the dealer before attempting any repairs. The dealer will most likely exchange your pair with a working one.
