I am interested to audition some tube amps to run with my MMG's - with the idea that I will move to 1.6's in the future -Can anyone shed light on the wattage needed in the tube world? I have a 21x24x8'9" room and have intended to add a stereo amp...had been thinking 225wpc(8ohm rating) in the solid state world.
I listen to Alternative, rock, acoustic rock and contemporary Jazz - usually moderate listening levels...but would like the ability to crank it up once in a while...
Any comments greatly appreciated
