Retensioning electrostatic panels is required for most models over time in my experience. I learned the technique in '77 from Jim Strickland, the father of Acoustat. And periodically treat both the Sound Lab stats upstairs and the Acoustats in the HT.I use a hair dryer but the key is moving across the diaphragm and not "torching" any one area. Definitely helps when the surface is visible as it is easy to see when any wrinkles are gone. You can always practice using window insulation which works the same way. We live in an older house and the glass that frames the front door is decorative but not double insulated. I covered them with plastic film and used the same dryer technique to pull that diaphragm taut for best insulation.
Sorry, I'm not anywhere close to you.
