I have listened to 6 foot Maggie's every nite since 1976.For several years I ran a ARC d125 FET front end tube output. 110 W/ch that gave me peaks of 91 dB of great tube sound.
I purchased it used for $2500 in 1991. A tube set replacement from ARC cost $700 and lasted 2000 hours.
I live in a condo and can not playback much higher volume.
Today I rum pass-labs Class A monos and get better sound.
A tube pre and SS power amp is most economical.
I would advise against any Chinese audio !
