There is a pair of these for sale in my area for $650. From the pictures
they look to be in good shape. Price includes "audiophile" cables. I
have not seen or heard them yet.
Is the price reasonable?
What do I need to look out for when inspecting and auditioning?
Are these superior to 1.7is, which are on my long term purchase plan?
Assuming they are functionally flawless now, am I going to need to send
them to Magnepan for rework in the near future?
Any and all info appreciated, and TIA.
