In an environment that has anonymous trolls operating everywhere, you just can't away from occasional personal attacks. It's just the nature of the audio forum landscape nowadays. AA is now become one of the worst I've ever seen in this aspect.
Pleas for civility, or can't we just all get along overtures are just feeding the trolls. (As weird as that seems.)
I suggest to Wendell to just grow a thicker skin, and not highlight instances of "personal attacks" because that just puts a magnifying glass on the issue.
