Yes indeed, but the stands do not alter the basic characteristics of the speakers themselves.
The question here is not whether alternative stands are a good thing relative to stock. They are.
The question is 'which' alternative stands provide the best compromise of price/performance.....relative to each other.
I don't see anything wrong with Robert's stands at all. They look good to me.
It's the over-the-top rhetoric and ridiculous claims that are the issue. As you probably know, I have zero tolerance for audiophile nonsense.
