Upgrading older speakers is rather like putting lipstick on a pig - the
pig looks better, but it's still a pig.
I am a firm believer that newer speakers/amps/sources are almost always
superior to even the best of yesteryear.
So go audition those 3.7s, and let your ears - and pocketbook - be your
guide.
