That sounds like a great system and should be an excellent match. Wish the 1.7 had a ribbon tweeter system as I recall the older 2.0 line did, but everything I've heard about the advances with this line indicate it's performance is stellar with good balance and extension. While I've never auditioned the 1.7, I did audition one of the earlier 1 series speakers many years ago before settling on the 3.7 line.
