12" woofers will produce sound much higher than 300Hz, but it's the setup that becomes the issue, not necessarily the drivers.
Even those GR "H"-frame enclosures will start to exhibit cavity resonance issues when you attempt to go up that high. Then, you have to start employing notch filters and various other tricks to level the response. And, of course, this is all assuming you're actually comfortable trying to blend something like those with a panel speaker that is not physically integrated with the woofers.
I think for dipole woofers like this....the bottom three octaves is a realistic limit. Once you get above that it gets pretty tricky.
