Your statement/premise is clear. It seems you believe that to flawlessly blend those two driver types would require a rewrite of the laws of physics by Magnepan. Am I reading it wrong?

Anyways, the answer is "no." It does not require any feats of magic to accomplish that goal. I've been doing it for a number of years.
Dipole woofer systems utilizing conventional drivers have been around for decades. We've always had the tools to integrate them properly to Magnepans....both physically and electrically. And the electrical part is even easier nowadays with the ease of EQ/crossover implementation via DSP.
