I power my LRS with a Rogue Cronus Magnum II. My room is large - about
35x20x9 feet. Speakers are on a short wall. I listen mostly to acoustic
jazz, bluegrass, western swing, and some classical (mostly solo piano or
guitar). I do not listen at ear shattering levels. I'm very happy with
what I am hearing from this setup and have no plans to change it. On
average, I'd say the volume control sits between 9 and 10 o'clock, and
seldom if ever higher that 11 o'clock. I never get a sense that the amp
is straining.
