The Pass labs crossover is not digital, it's analog. It's also waaaaaay more expensive than the price point you mentioned earlier.

If you really are an EE, then it would be simple to gin up an active, analog crossover with some op-amps for near your $100 price point.

If you look in the Tweaks section here, you'll see some example schematics I posted to this forum nearly twenty years. Those are still viable designs.
