Total nonsense.

The Magnepan "voice coil" doesn't have enough air movement to cool by anything other than normal convection. It will indeed fluctuate in temperature in direct relation to the current flow.

Nobody said anything about using 28 gauge aluminum speaker wires for crying out loud. Your comment is a stupid straw man.

Normal speaker wire will be much more stable in electrical and thermal properties than speaker voice coils.
