Color me shocked!

It ain't April 1st, so my guess is this isn't a joke, but whether a new amp design from Magnepan can be taken seriously, that's another matter..

Appearance-wise, there seems to be a Sanders Sound or perhaps a Quad type design topology involved, but does the "300" designation mean wpc or something else altogether?

It seems to me that a power amp with only 300 wpc into 4 Ohms ...even with rock solid stability down to 2 Ohms... wouldn't be worth the effort for Magnepan and if the designation reflects an 8 Ohm load, then why use the "300" number in respect to Maggies since a very efficient A/B amp would nearly double into a typical 4 Ohm load. Food for thought.
