Tilting is a sound extrusion principle.

I'm much more experienced with the 3.7i than the MG II, but many Maggie owners have found tilting improves overall sound balance. I think it's called the "windmill effect" and in a properly configured room with all other things being equal it can produce an enormously Quixotic music listening experience.

It's usually best not to question the reasoning behind why this works as there are many. Wendell Diller prefers carrying his mentor's armor and meeting the challenges associated with combat in wildly different venues, but firmly believes each listener should reach his or her own conclusions. As it has been, so it shall always be.

Keeping spirits high, season's best everyone!

Cheers,
AuPh
