Got to hear my first pair of Maggies and they happened to be these. Can I assume ALL other Maggies sound the same?

But seriously, what a complete soundstage. The speakers totally disappeared across the entire room, every musician is his/her place. Great depth also. The room was totally energized with the sound.

All this talk of "no bass" didn't seem to be any problem here. Right as I was leaving they put on what sounded like a recording of Japanese drums. I could definitely feel the bass in my chest.

I only wished they had spun something other than vinyl. I had every intention of bringing a high resolution disc with me but forgot.

A couple of interesting things said by Wendell. First, the small panel carries the majority of the sound and could have been narrower and even better if they were taller but they felt like they needed the symmetry. He also mentioned a plasma floor to ceiling speaker being the perfect energizing speaker. Anybody want to give him the money for the prototype?
