As a coherency freak, I've never been impressed with hybrids having dipolar mid/tweeter and monopole woofers - especially those crossed deep into midrange territory. There are too many instruments that span both drivers and those tend to exhibit a multi-personality disorder. :)
With true dipolar radiation and a lowish (200 hz) xover, that appears to be a better approach.
