RE: T1D's crossover point is???

If you want the best sound out of these (I own a pair too) you'll use the exact same amps for biamping hi's and low's considering the relatively high XO point of about 1K. Regardless of what others may say, soundstage just doesn't jell using different amps at this frequency point.

I'd also level match the hi and low amp outputs of both channels one octave away (or more, e.g. 500Hz and 2K Hz since slopes are symmetrical) using a sine wave on a test CD and a digital volt meter so you're assured of an absolutely flat and matching frequency response for left and right speakers. May sound OCD, but it's easy and way more accurate than trying to do it by listening. The sonic improvement is not subtle. The soundstage is much more integrated this way.
