You might want to consider the Hsu Reseach ULS-15. IMO, this is an excellent sealed box subwoofer for Maggies. Not sure if this is the latest model (Mk2), but the specs haven't changed much (Rosenut finish is nice, too). I bought mine several years ago to use with other speakers for HT (before pulling the trigger on Maggies), but it's virtually seamless with the 3.7i (positioned directly between them; sorry, image above is grainy & screen moved forward at the time for guests to watch movies).

Based on the advice you've been given I'm sure that other subwoofer suggestions would also work well with your 1.6 Maggies, but given the price, integration and flexibility I think Hsu subs are a real bargain.
