Love the set-up. Consolidating doesn't have to be fraught with irreconcilable compromises.

Your approach blends two passions with differing requirements in a well thought out manner. I've reached a similar solution that works for films and music (albeit through different amplification and tubed front end).

The 3.7i are the most musical speakers I've ever owned. With sufficient watts and a well integrated sub they can achieve amazing results.
