RE: What amplifier to drive 3.7i?

Thanks Norman and everybody!
Amps I've tried are Spectral DMA-360 and MSB M202, both of monoblocks. M202 is 400w into 4Ohm and 360 is rated higher. I've no idea of the reason, just not enough lower bass out of them, and seems like they cannot control the bass imaging. Also I've tried a pro amp called MC2 S1400 with 2000w into 4, yes indeed it can handle the planars with ease, but the sound signature is not as favorable, you know what I means.
So a few months of brake in will help? Maybe it's too early for me to make judgement?
At least the MC2 told me huge power, high transient current and damping factor are important in the situation.
I just want effortless dynamics, transparent imaging and musical tone from them, with a cost limit within maybe 10000. Can I expect it from Magtech and John Curl works? I've heard Pass Labs in some other set ups but don't like their tough sound... Also some guys recommended Jeff Rowland 625 and ARC VT200 for me. Anybody used them?
Thanks
Victor
