HI. I bought a Rythmik Audio F15HP two years ago and have been playing with as a supplement to a pair of customized Magnepan 3.6s and a pair of Kinergetic Subwoofer towers with 5 x 10" drivers per side. Some observations.

Rythmik is a great choice. Build quality is excellent and range of features includes almost everything you could possibly need. I don't know how they can do this for $1400. They will easily match the quality of any Maggies with the right set up.

Best result will only be obtained if you have a way to measure the results. There are various technical reasons to use a higher XO frequency so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss 80Hz, until you explore all your options (the $300K Genesis Audio 1.2s are not crossed over at 40Hz!).
