My Serenity Super-7s at a Club meeting

Transported the vast majority of my 2-channel system to an Arizona Audio Video Club meeting last month. From the last to the 1st, included were the Super-7s...

...both pairs of poweramps (Coincident Frankenstein IIs, an 8-Watt, 300B SET and WAVAC MD-805ms. 55-Watt, 805-based SET), and my trusty, old, fabulous-sounding, highly improved c-j MET1 6-channel preamp and Oppo '95 disc player...plus all the IC, power, and speakercable, plus 3 powerconditioners.

The 8-Watt Franks ran out of power sometimes driving the huge room (maybe 25-by-75 feet) but the WAVACs made that job sound easy, always sounding great.

Comments included:

WOW was this old fart tired at the end of the evening.

Improvement plans include complete rewiring...
