The rear of the panels is now 4-1/3 feet from the face of the SuperSub cabinets.
Can't say I heard a difference.
They still sound very good if not as transparent as the 5As--but with me still congested and my ears still a bit pressurized, the 5As don't sound as good as they used to.
BTW I'm driving the MR panels full-range after discussing with Danny, who wrote that with only 8 Watts, the MR drivers would never be damaged. When I get the amps rebuilt (by Sonic Craft), I'll change the coupling cap to a value (0.01uF) that will create a 48Hz hi-pass filter, plenty high enough to prevent pulses from damaging the MR drivers.
Am investigating SoundOCity.com's spike feet for them.
