Well I got sidetracked and didn't do the Stixbees this weekend... Project for another day.
I have very different (cheaper) upstream equipment than most inmates: mmg's are powered by 4 channels of a bottom-of-the-barrel 'home-theatre-in-a-box' Onkyo receiver using the aux inputs. Active x-over is by a simple Pyle unit or a miniDSP. The minniDSP is awesome; flexible and precise, make changes on the fly. Pyle has the advantage of being able to serve as the sub x-over as well. Source is the home PC with standard-issue sound card.
I'll take plenty of pics when doing the Stixbees!
