Just to clarify: your MMG's
1) Are Razored
2) Are not using the factory (laid-back) metal stands, but are standing upright for all tests. Is this correct? othgerwise, I cannot fathom how weight was added to the top of the speaker...
3) Showed biggest gains (+3db or so) by using Stixbees on the stock frame (what stand type?)
4) Showed modest incremental gains with the addition of weight to the top and bottom of the speaker.
Sorry if I'm being obtuse, just want to clarify for my own selfish sake. Looking for the 'next' improvement. My MMG's are Razored stock frame, active line level Xo and biamp, on homebrew verticle stands. Sounds like frame reinforcement and weight are the next steps!
