Line level active MMG's - Time to do the 1.7's?

I recently converted to line level active XO on the MMG’s and have been VERY impressed. It is still very much a work in progress. Tuning purely by ear on white noise, with a $70 Pyle x-over and using 2 old receivers ($75 each), the sound is phenomenal. There is new clarity and detail I’ve never heard. I am sure it will only get better as I procure amps specific for this setup and integrate a MiniDSP to provide better control. Currently the x-over point is set at 2kHz, 12db/octave, with little opportunity to manipulate – not exactly ideal.

Predictably, I am now itching to convert the 1.7’s to active x-over. I understand the 1.7 has a somewhat complex 2.5 way crossover.

My plan of attack is
1)Ask for feedback and assistance from this fine forum before willy-nilly purchasing parts and violating the virgin 1.7’s
2)Determine stock x-over values
3)Base active XO on 2 MiniDSP 2x4 boards (one for each speaker)
4)Bypass stock XO, leaving it in place to revert to stock if needed...
4)Put it all together, tune by ear and mic (REW perhaps)

Can an expert chime in to explain the stock crossover points and slopes? Please be patient, I am very much a crossover ‘newb’. I understand the various slopes but that’s about it. I am having little luck determining the points and slopes from PG’s schematic. Phase is a mystery to me...

If I am deciphering the schematic correctly, and assuming 4ohm loads, the crossover specs are (close) to:

Midbass: 450hz (does not seem right?). What is the slope?
Tweeter and SuperTweeter: wired in parallel, 4300hz. Slope?

Thanks for feedback and assistance!
