Neat! Congratulations. When one gets this kind of bi-amping right it truly extracts the best out of Maggies.
I agree, make use of REW to tune things along, as well as to compare configurations. REW was key to my own bi-amping of MMGs in PLLXO mode.
When I put it back in full service (repairing it now) I'll have the tweeters driven by my HCA-1000a again. In tweeter duty it is fairly good. Later, I may get another HCA-1500a like the one I have on the mid/bass panels. The MOSFET on the 1500a make the tweeters sound even better. In addition, class A remains on for longer...more so with a tweeter's low power demands in a bi-amp, as I gather you already know.
Which reminds me, consider raising the bias on the 1000a, particularly on the channels that you use for the tweeter (depends on vertical or horizontal). Or, at the very least, recheck that the bias on each channel is within spec. Let me know if you need pointers on the subject.
Have fun!
