I did a lot of reading on amps and found an awful lot of pixie dust. Of the few amp reviews with instrumented tests, the tests could not identify the nameplate... Of course, I would expect a $20k Bryston to be much better physical quality than a $200 Behringer. But if they have equivalent THD (below the level of hearing), flat response, and no compression (adequate power for the material), then I don't know how the speakers will tell the difference.
Anyway: the QSC should arrive today, I look forward to powering the MMGs with it, and breaking in the 1.7's in a week or 2.
