For what it's worth, I am driving my 3.6R's with Emotiva XPA-1 monoblocks and I am delighted with the results. In fact I have a large room (18x40')with Revel Ultra Salon 2's driven by Musical Fidelity 550k's at one end and the 3.6R's/Emotiva's at the other end. By swinging my chairs around I can compare. I find myself wanting to listen to the maggies more than the Revels.
