Running around upstairs trying to get my room painted so I can try out my IVA's! But I think J. Lindborg has it down, thickness is going to be determined by length -- which is predetermined -- width and the original DCR, which is also fixed. So width is the only optional parameter here. Mass will go down, and since the other Thiele-Small parameters are fixed, Q should go down as a consequence, while as Stale pointed out resonance frequency should go up. So equalization will presumably required.
