Congrats. The 1.6's are great.
I would just listen to them stock. As you get used to them and they break in you may find yourself wishing for more or less of something, then start to tweak, not before.
I don't know what the "choke" tweak entails but beware of any mods that may void your warranty.
One thing you can experiment with is positioning them with the tweeters on the inside and then on the outside. One way will sound better to you and your room.
