I just tried the Sunfire CRW-2 and compared them to my 1.6 and the 3.6 I have, and in surround mode. They (CRW-2)are more efficent, and the tonal balance is very different. They are brilliant, exciting, etc. The 1.6 is a warmer fuller sound, the 3.6 better upper end detail, and less of the midbass bloom on the 1.6. I will look for a pair of MMG for the rear as I do not need the disstracting brilliance in the rear. They only detracted from the quality up front. Up front, they were very detailed, and very good, but I prefer the balance of the maggies. Just my preferencde, but the sound is so dramatically different IMS. Try before you buy....Jallen
