The XM44 sounds so good, it would be easy to sideways or backwards. The interconnects have proved to be more important variables than the transparent XM44 which just gets out of the way. Also, the speaker cables need to be at least 8 or 10GA cables for the 3.6 and a lot of power in biamp mode. At least 120wpc for the midtreble, and 500wpc for the midbass or bass, and a sub cut at 40hz and below. The 3.6 doesn't put out any useful info. below 40hz. and the sub only provides a good musical foundation at this frequency range. Audience speaker cables are far to small and best for high efficency speakers. The large gauge is so there is no power loss in the transfer of power.
