RE: Active XO

The flexibility is limited to the module you choose to purchase which can get a bit expensive if you don't know what frequency you want to Xover at. There are five + and five- positions for the frequency adjustment so you can fine tune it to your room. I have mine fairly flat in my room +- 4dB from 50HZ to 10KHz which is reasonable. This with a sub. The modules are for Xover points, then fine tuning with the knobs. This XM44 just gets out of the way, and does not shrink the stage the way the Ashley and Behringer do, although the Ashley is better. I hope this helps. Jallen
