Do they play OK or is there noise. If the plastic is Ok, odds are ....so are the speakers. If one side is replaced, I would not worry too much. Maggies break in, but should not sound too different once broken in. They will sound more different in a room without equal walls than from old and new mylar. Play, enjoy if not damaged. Jallen
