I have the 3.6, a friend has the 20.1. We both tried the XM26 and XM44, both of us had the same summary. Unless you have SS equipment with an ugly spike needing a little taming, go with the XM44 as it is more neutral. Too much detail is obscured by the over-tubey sound of the XM26. The XM26 has its place, just not in my system. The XM44 is very neutral and gets out of the way. Read the review in "Enjoy the music" and the review is very accurate and what I heard in my rig. Try first....Too much of the maggie treble magic is lost with the XM26. Happy listening, Jallen
