To put another amplifier option out there, the Bryston 4BST is good as a budget amp, the 4BSST is even better, and what I use for the bottom, and the 14BSST ideal as it won't run out of juice. 200wpc, barely gets them (3.6)up to the starting gate. If all you listen to is string quartets, the 100wpc will be fine. Any bass drive and the power requirements go up very fast. The legacy/Coda amplifiers also sound good with this speaker 600wpc/4 Ohms. The Bryston have an unusual synergy with this speaker which must be heard to be believed. Others mentioned also work well like Pass which cannot be faulted. Don't under-power the 3.6 or you will be disappointed. The damping synergy between 3.6 and amp is where the magic is, and of course enough power. Jallen
