RE: Looking at some Martin Logan SL3's

The ML company is good about repairs, but it is not a free lunch, they charge for this. I would look for newer ones as you will be sinking money into these likely. They sound descent, but are a bit thin and plastic sounding to me, unless tubes are used. If your heart is set on these, be sure they work well, call ML and ask about the repair history, and go forward. Jallen
